A. L. Pickens Co., Inc. was founded in 1960 by Arthur L. Pickens as an electrical manufacturer's representative firm.  Art had the vision to recognize the opportunity to establish an entrepreneurial business enterprise in his home state of Kentucky.  With his two young daughters & wife he moved from Colorado to Louisville and created his dream of controlling his own destiny.
